THE TEAM

At Luminous Physio, we take the time to talk about all of your issues and give you tools to care for them. Nothing is too private or irrelevant.

Whether you are suffering through a new injury or managing chronic pain, our role is to listen to your story, partner with you to develop a game plan that works for your current situation, and empower you with tools to care for your body long term.

Meet the Team

Shannon Selig, Front Desk Office Assistant

Hi! I was born and raised in Oregon but returned to the Northwest 18 years ago after spending time in Silicon Valley, Zimbabwe and Brooklyn, NY. My husband Josh and I have loved raising our 2 kids here in Seattle and traveling around Washington state cheering them on in sports. In my free time I love attending comedy shows, rooting for the Seahawks and catching up with friends while walking our cavapoo Romeo.

I understand personally the role pelvic floor physical therapy can play in a person’s health journey. My goal is to provide seamless communication by assisting clients at Luminous Physio with scheduling, administrative queries, and any request that aids in their path to wellness.

I am available by phone, email, or text: 11:30am-3:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr. Nik Srur, PT, DPT

Hi! I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and am an artist at heart. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me creating in some form, traveling, ice skating, practicing Pilates, or exploring new foods around the city.

Pilates is a foundational pillar of my treatment approach.  As a former competitive figure skater, Pilates helped me navigate chronic pain, recover thoughtfully, and move with greater strength and control— and it’s now the bridge I use to connect rehab with real life.

I’m passionate about helping clients move pain-free and with confidence, no matter their goals. I’m here to help you feel stronger, more at ease in your body, and ready to enjoy the activities that light you up!

Education and Certifications:

• Advanced Certifications in Pelvic Health: Herman & Wallace Pelvic Function Level 1, 2A, 2B, 2C & Capstone

• Comprehensive Pilates Certification – Polestar Pilates

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) – University of Miami

• Bachelor’s in Psychology, Minor in Sports Psychology – Western Washington University

Dr. Sarah Woodward, PT, DPT, OCS, WCS

Pronouns: she/her

Hi! I am a transplant from Kentucky and the Chicagoland area. I love movement, being in nature, sitting on the floor, drinking too much coffee, and hiking with my sweetest pup, Fiona.

In the clinic, my goal is to help each client feel confident and capable. I have advanced specialization in both Orthopaedics and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy so that I can better serve clients navigating whole body issues such as pregnancy, postpartum recovery, sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, hypermobility, and chronic back or pelvic pain.

Education and Certifications:

Luminous Physio is committed to ending the stigma associated with pelvic floor dysfunction. We all have pelvic floors and sometimes they get injured — just like any other body part!

“What we don’t need in the midst of struggle is shame for being human.”
